
Q: How long is the ferry to Martha's Vineyard?
A: Each sailing offers a delightful 35-minute cruise across the sparkling waters of Vineyard Sound between Falmouth, Cape Cod and Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard.
Q: Where do I purchase tickets?
A: Passengers departing from Falmouth may purchase tickets from our Ticket Office at 75 Falmouth Heights Road. Passengers departing from Oak Bluffs you may purchase tickets at our Snack Bar on-board the Island Queen, as we do not have a ticket office on the island.
Q: When do I need to arrive?
A: Passengers are advised to arrive 45 minutes prior to departure to take into consideration the possible screening of passengers and their luggage prior to boarding the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. You must be inside the Boarding Area to be guaranteed a space on the boat.
Q: Are certain departure times busier than others?
A: In July and August the 10:30AM departure from Falmouth and the 5:15PM departure from Oak Bluffs are our most popular sailings with a possibility that these boats may reach capacity (594 passengers). Passengers with flexibility in their schedule may wish to consider the 9:00AM departure from Falmouth and the 3:45PM departure from Oak Bluffs.
Q: Is it necessary to make reservations?
A: We only accept reservations for group bookings of 20 passengers or more. For group sales please call (508) 548-4800.
Q: Where do I park?
A: We have 2 parking lots. One lot is located about 100 yards from the pier on Falmouth Heights Road, and the other is located on Scranton Avenue. Both lots are within walking distance to the Island Queen ferry. Parking is $15.00 per calendar day (cash or travelers checks only). Discount Parking Plans are available for frequent travelers.

Q: Do you run in all weather conditions?
A: For your convenience, the Island Queen adheres
to ferry schedules
and runs on time. However, we are not responsible for inconveniences caused by weather or unforeseen problems.
Q: What happens if the last boat leaving the island is full and we are unable to get
on board?
A: We never leave anyone on the island. If we are full, we will return and pick you up or we will make other travel arrangements.

A: Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard.
Q: Do you accept credit cards?
A: No. We accept cash and travelers checks only.
Q: May I bring my bike?
A: Yes, you may bring your bike, $6.00 round trip, $3.00 one-way.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: We accommodate pets if properly leashed at no additional fee.
Q: Do you take cars?
A: No vehicles, passengers only.
Q: From Boston is there car-free service to the Island Queen?

A: Winnetu Resort offers convenient on-Island pick-up/drop-off service for their guests that choose to utilize the “Island Queen” ferry so long as the on-island VIP Ferry Transfer Service is pre-reserved via the Winnetu website.
