How to get to Martha’s Vineyard?

Round out your visit with a stop in Aquinnah, one of the most beautiful places in the U.S with its brilliantly colored cliffs and spectacular views. It’s also home to the Vineyard’s indigenous population, the Wampanoag tribe of Gay Head.
The best way to see the island of Martha’s Vineyard is by one of several modes of transportation. Island wide public bus service is very convenient and provided by the Martha’s Vineyard Transit Authority. Single trip fares and full day & multi-day passes are available for purchase on the bus. Taxis, Uber and Lyft are plentiful and await your arrival at our Oak Bluffs dock. Also, you may choose to bring your bicycle aboard the Island Queen Ferry and explore the island at your leisure. Or, rent a bicycle, jeep, smart car and more at one of many rental locations in Oak Bluffs. Sightseeing tours are provided by several tour companies including Martha’s Vineyard Sightseeing, Inc.
