First of all, of course, it’s the beaches. Some of the best in the world. While you can choose from the warm waters of Nantucket Sound or the chillier Atlantic. As a result, surfing, fishing, swimming, and boating are a few summer past times. Also, you can drive down Cape to the 27,700 acres of the Cape Cod National Seashore for dramatic sand dunes, cliffs and infinite stretches of beaches.

Another reason for its popularity may be attributed to the unique character of each town. Since each town on the Cape has something unique to offer in the way of natural beauty, history, the arts, and entertainment. Therefore, the uniqueness of each town makes this peninsula a special place.

There are so many gems. First, there are the 14 lighthouses, more than any other county in America. Then, there is the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory in Hyannis, where visitors can tour the factory and see how the potato chips are made. Next, there’s the Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich which owns one of the most impressive collection of American automobiles. Another, is the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI), the largest independent oceanographic research institution in the United States. Also, Old King’s Highway, the longest historic district in America and contains four centuries of architecture.
